Chingay Parade Singapore 2010
One of the most anticipated and widely participated events here, Chingay is really one big street party. While you will find traditional performances like dragon and lion dances, this year's festival has the distinction of showcasing its first fire-cracker dragons, as well as fantastic fantasy characters, majestic "flying horses" and various multi-racial and multi-cultural local and overseas performances.

Mosaic Music Festival
Launched in 2003, this popular music festival has since grown into one of Singapore's biggest music events and features a diverse spectrum of international and regional musicians. Audiences can look forward to a 10-day music experience showcasing live performances spanning genres from jazz and blues to hip-hop and world music. Artists to look forward to this year include popular "vintage music" band Pink Martini, jazz band Branford Marsalis Quartet, English singer-songwriter Vashti Bunyan, and bassist Christian McBride, who in 1992 was named Rolling Stone magazine's "Hot Jazz Artist" of the year.
